I do not really like prefabricated houses. They often look too monotonous to me, just too “ready”. However, the current issue of the WOHNIDEE magazine is really hard to prove to me that there is another way. As? The Living magazine Styles a house from top to bottom – and makes the WOHNIDEE house to a home by an airy set up facility, natural colors and an interesting mix of materials.
For the sixth time the WOHNIDEE cooperated with the prefabricated house producer Viebrock. When designing the WOHNIDEE house, which can be visited in the model house park in Bad Fallingbostel, the editors were guided by the idea of ”living as on vacation”. You can also feel it when you look at the photos: The large windows and patio doors make the house bright and airy, which is supported by a gallery on the upper floor. The soft basic tones of the furnishings – sand tones, stone gray and wool white dominate – convey a sense of space.
The leg-dangling-feeling runs through the entire, on two floors distributed, 170 square meters of living space: natural tones such as Sonnengelb and sky blue produce splashes of color; one thinks of the pictures of the bathroom furnished in aqua tones the sea rushing to listen. You could easily get used to living in such a comfortable way …
So that’s not too soft and boring for the eyes, WOHNIDEE has worked with a lot of material mix. Metal meets upholstery, Wood on metal, the upholstered furniture is covered with different fabrics. Since the prefabricated house loses its typically finished character, because felt there’s something new to discover every day.
